An immersive foundation course in shamanism, focused on learning and developing the practice of shamanic journeying. The course is held entirely online, via face to face meetings within a small group and monthly one-to-one mentoring sessions with Samara.

Learn about shamanism and animism, their ancient lineage and the practice of connecting with your own ancestral tradition. Learn about belonging to the land and how shamanism can revolutionise the problems of our modern world. Learn how to work with shamanic journeying techniques for your own personal healing and transformation. Meet and develop relationships with your personal spirit guides. Learn techniques to enable you to fully land in your soul, in your soul purpose and discover the WILD you.

This course involves learning the foundations needed to safely work with shamanic journeying techniques, including advanced protection, alongside plenty of discussion and time for integration. At the end of the course you will have acquired a skill that will enable you to be more aware of life from a different perspective, more aware of spirit and more aware of how to look after and protect your soul and physical being.

Introduction to Shamanism
Saturday 21st September 2024 Introduction to shamanism and the practice of shamanic journeying, learning techniques to journey safely. Meet and connect with spirit animal guides and learn how to shapeshift. Nature connection activities. Develop a relationship with your spirit animals throughout the month and learn how they can help you in your day-to-day life.

The World Tree & the Lower World
Saturday 19th October 2024 Learn about the world tree and the lower world in particular. Explore the lower world meeting with a spirit guide to help you access this realm safely. Nature connection activities. Practice journeying to the lower world throughout the month.

The Upper World
Saturday 16th November 2024 Learn about and explore journeying to the upper world, meeting with a spirit guide to help you access this realm safely. Nature connection activities. Practice journeying to the upper world throughout the month.

Animism & Nature Spirits
Saturday 14th December 2024 Learn about animism and the presence of nature spirits, both within the land and within the realms of the World Tree. Learn the basics of plant communication and how to connect with nature spirits in the land. Journey to connect with plant allies. Learn how to develop your practice of nature connection and form deeper relationships with your own land, forming a sense of belonging.

Shamanic Ethics, the Middle World & Ancestors Saturday 18th January 2025 Learn how to journey within the middle world and the ethics that govern shamanism. Refine and integrate all of the work so far. Learn about the ancestral realm, ethics around ancestral connection and meeting with an ancestral guide. Deeper work on belonging to the land.

Healing Journeys
22nd February 2025 Learn how the practice of shamanic journeying can help your own personal development, how you can journey into your own personal psyche for insight and healing.

Deeper Healing Journeys
15th March 2025 Following the practices of the previous month, deepen your journeys, learning more advanced techniques for personal healing.

Shamanic Initiation 19th April 2025 Learn deeper healing techniques and integrate all of the techniques learned throughout the course, connecting with a new spirit guide and crossing over the threshold of initiation - if you choose to!

INFORMATION

This course is held entirely online and is limited to 4 participants to encourage depth of connection and learning. It consists of an online day held once a month for 8 months, between September 2023 and April 2024, involving 5-6 hours of online training, including shamanic journeying and sharing circles. Each online day is divided into two sessions (of 2.5-3 hours) throughout the day (morning and afternoon), leaving the middle part of the day available for invitational nature connection activities outlined within the course.

The course includes an additional 1-1 mentoring session, once a month, focused on helping you with the course content. There is also an optional WhatsApp group and additional support offered as needed.

In addition to this course, it would benefit you to join the online monthly journey group to facilitate your personal practice of shamanic journeying.
